    • Mason Jar
    • Citrus Peels/Pine Branches
    • Distilled White Vinegar
    • Cheesecloth or
    • Fine-Mesh Sieve
    • Spouted Measuring Cup
    • 16oz Glass Spray Bottle

    1. Fill a lidded glass container with citrus peels or pine branches.
    2. Pour in vinegar until container is full or contents are covered.
    3. Replace lid and store in a cool dark location for 2 weeks.
    4. After 2 weeks, strain with a cheesecloth lined fine-mesh sieve (preferred method) or double strain if not using cheesecloth, over a spouted measuring cup.
      • This will prevent the sprayer from getting clogged.
    5. Pour desired amount into a 16oz glass spray bottle.
    6. Dilute with water as needed or use full strength.
    7. Store remaining cleaner in a glass container.
      • Compost left over peels/branches.

Note: Not for use on natural stone or wood.

Toilet Bowl Cleaner

  • Supplies:
    • Large Glass Mixing Bowl
    • Empty Glass Spray Bottle
    • Small Funnel (if desired)
    • 1 1/3 Cup Baking Soda
    • 1/2 Cup Citric Acid
    • 1/4 Cup Witch Hazel
    • 80 Drops Essential Oils of Choice
      • Code SHAREYL for 10% Off
    • Mini Muffin Pan or
    • Silicone Mold
  • Instructions:
    1. In a large glass mixing bowl, mix together the baking soda and citric acid.
    2. Pour witch hazel into the empty glass spray bottle, drop in essential oils of choice, and shake.
    3. Spritz baking soda and citric acid mixture until just dampened enough to hold its shape when pressed together in your hand.
      • Be careful not to add too much moisture as mixture should still look powdery in the bowl.
    4. Spoon mixture into mini muffin pan or silicone mold. Press down firmly with back of spoon to ensure tablets are well packed. Leave on counter overnight to dry.
    5. Remove toilet bombs from the mold and store in an air tight container.

To Use: Drop one toilet bomb into toilet bowl and allow to completely dissolve before cleaning or use as a deodorizer by dropping into toilet bowl before use.

Disinfecting

  • Supplies:
    • Spray Nozzle
    • 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Or
    • 70% Isopropyl Alcohol
    • Essential Oils (Optional)
      • Code SHAREYL for 10% Off
    • Glass Spray Bottle (Optional)
  • Instructions:
    1. Add a spray nozzle to a bottle of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide or 70% Isopropyl Alcohol.
    2. Spray over desired area (or pour on a rag and rub surface).
      • Ensure area has been thoroughly cleaned with soap and water or household cleaner of choice before disinfecting.
    3. Allow the hydrogen peroxide to sit for at least 10 minutes to ensure enough time to fully disinfect. Alcohol can disinfect in as little as 30 seconds.

Note: Hydrogen peroxide should be stored in an opaque bottle away from light. Alcohol can be transferred to a glass spray bottle and mixed with essential oils of choice to counteract the strong alcohol scent, if desired. Spot test to ensure material compatibility. Do not use alcohol on wood or natural stone.
